Folios 374-375: Thomas Ladd Peake, HM Sloop Rosario, Chatham.
Encloses a certificate from Robinson Wordsworth, Collector of HM Customs at Harwich, which confirms his son's age. Asks that the boy be permitted to join the books of HMS Rosario, as a young gentleman of the first class.
Folio 376: enclosure with folios 374-375, Extract from the Register of Baptisms in the parish of St Nicholas, Harwich, Essex, in the year 1800. Reads: 'Robinson [Faith?] son of Robinson and Elizabeth Caroline Matilda Wordsworth, was born on the 11th December 1800 and christened on the 14th day of December 1800.' Signed by William Whinfield. Goes on to state that the boy has had the education of a gentleman's son.
