Folios 366-367: John Phillimore, Whitehall.
Two of his crew from HMS Eurotas, the gunner Mr Armstrong, and the boatswain Mr Price, have asked Phillimore to recommend them to their Lordships for promotion. He specifies that Armstrong is a very good, active and clever seaman, highly deserving of advancement, and that Mr Price's length of service he hopes will induce their Lordships to promote him.
