Folios 225-226: Commander Charles Rodney Phillott, HMS Primrose, Woolwich.
Requests that next time HMS Primrose takes in her guns in Woolwich she is supplied with 24 pounders instead of 32 pounders as he has found that especially in bad weather this ship is not so stiff under sail and he attributes this to the weight of metal she has on board and a very reduced beam.
