Name: Edwin Jones.
Occupation: Signalman.
Place of accident: Machynlleth, Montgomeryshire.
Injury: Crushed little finger leading to amputation.
Details of accident: Jones took the tablet from the Driver of the Goods train at Machynlleth Station, and as he turned to go to signal cabin he slipped and fell and his left hand went against the rails, and his little finger was caught by a wagon wheel and crushed necessitating amputation.
