Details of accident: Morris crossing the Main line at Newtown as the 06:15 Down Good was running in he was knocked down and run over by an Up good train the wheels of which passed over and severed both legs. Morris was conveyed to the infirmary as soon as possible where he succumbed to his injuries at about 13:40.
