Details of accident: Evans following another platelayer along the side of Bowling Green Wall at Welshpool when for some reason he stepped in front of 3 wagons being shunted into the coal siding and was knocked down the wheels of three wagons passed over his right forearm. Evans succumbed to his injuries the same day.
