Name: John S Wilkes.
Occupation: Reliefman.
Place of accident: Bangor-on-Dee, Flintshire.
Injury: Three crushed fingers on left hand and cut forehead.
Details of accident: Wilkes attempted to jump on to the step of the engine of the 16:40 Goods train ex Oswestry, when in motion and slipped and fell between the platform and the engine cutting his forehead, and also crushing three fingers of this left hand. The accident occurred at Bangor on Dee station.
