Printed prize appeal from the Vice-Admiralty Court of Antigua.
Captured ship: Harriott brig (master Christopher O'Connor).
Nationality: American.
History: bound from Bordeaux to Philadelphia, laden with brandy, wine, almonds, prunes and dry goods; taken about 22 March 1804 by HMS Colpoys armed schooner (John Eagan commanding), and brought into Tortola and then Antigua.
Appellant: The master for the cargo on behalf of Messrs Ducoing and Lacombe merchants of Philadelphia, American citizens.
Respondent: The captor.
Bound printed appeal with manuscript decree of 3 March 1808 (folios 47-56) [no folio 49].
Decision: insufficient further proof; further proof within 9 months.
