Printed prize appeal from the High Court of Admiralty.
Captured ship: Twee Gebroeders (master Meindert Roelf).
Nationality: Prussian.
History: bound from Pampoul to London, laden with pork and beef; taken on 26 June 1801 by HMS Weazle (William Dunban commanding) and brought into Jersey.
Appellant: Peter Schmidtmeyer merchant of Little St Mary Axe, London, partner in Messrs Schmidtmeyer and Jolivet, for the cargo on behalf of Messrs Augustus and John Bousquet merchants of Philadelphia.
Respondent: The captors and HMPG.
Bound printed appeal with manuscript decree of 16 November 1805 (folios 394-412) [folio 406 and 406A, 409 and 409A, no folio 398, 407, 408, 410, 413].
Decision: against the appeal.
