Printed prize appeal from the High Court of Admiralty.
Captured ship: Juliana (master Jan Christian Carstens).
Nationality: Danish.
History: bound from Hamburg via Bordeaux and Corunna to Senegal, laden with pepper, tobacco, iron, cutlery, wine, brandy, calico and other goods; taken on 7 July 1800 by the privateer Alert (Thomas Dymond commanding), and brought into Weymouth.
Appellant: The captor.
John Dorville merchant of London on behalf of Messrs Behie and Co of Hamburg.
Bound printed appeal with manuscript decree of 3 August 1805 (folios 320-352) [folio 329 and 329A, no folio 341].
Decision: against the appeal, save appellant to receive costs of the apeal.
