Printed prize appeal from the Vice-Admiralty Court of Jamaica.
Captured ship: Falck (master Mathies Jensen Falck).
Nationality: Danish.
History: bound from Bordeaux to Charleston, laden with wine, brandy, oil, olives, capers and annisette; taken on 21 September 1799 by HMS Brunswick (William Gordon Rutherford commanding), and brought into Jamaica.
Appellant: Johannes de Chapeaurouge and Cornelius Wilhelm de Chapeaurouge, merchants of Hamburg and partners of Messrs J de Chapeaurouge and Co.
Respondent: The captor.
Bound printed appeal with manuscript decree of 22 June 1805 (folios 250-252).
Decision: registrar's report confirmed and captor's expenses allowed.
