Folio 102. Petition of James Peele, Thames fisherman, to the Duke of Newcastle praying for relief from his sentence of transportation for the theft of coal not worth four pence. With a recommendation signed by John Hughes, Jos [Joseph] Hughes, James Hodges, Wm [William] Heartley, Jno [John] Cooper, Joseph Cooper, James Blundell, Dunton Quinton, Charles Maynard, James Park, Wm [William] Jefferson, Philip Briod, Wm [William] Parsons, Wm [William] Monk, John Hall and John Carter.
