Description

Folios 42-43. Mailly at Dublin to Payzant, saying again that the Archbishop of Meath refuses the appointment at Tuam. He then mentions the Chevalier Schaub, who he wishes to thank for pursuading Dr Courayes to write to the Bishop of Clogher on his behalf. Mentions Madame D'Agar also, who wrote to Mr de la Sosse in Paris; saying that she won't receine any financial support without a strong recommendation, like the one from the Duke of Bedford, or Lord Chesterfield.
