Folios 2-3. Mr Jean Mailly at Dublin to James Payzant. Regards his attempt to obtain a position, particularly after the passing of the late Archbishop of Tuam who had promised him a vicarate before his death. Also mentions Mme d'Agar, who learned that the Chevalier [Luke] Schaub has a relative close to the Primate of the Kingdom, and would like to know who this person is. Mr Audibert, Messieurs Aufrere, De Robethon, de la Fontaine, and de la Fosse are also mentioned.
