Folios 28-31. Petition of James Langley, surgeon, for the grant of Letters Patent for his discoveries and manufactures of commodities and oil from English vegetables. With referral to the Attorney-General signed by the Earl of Holdernesse; affidavit of James Langley and the Attorney-General's report recommending the petition be granted within England, Wales and the town of Berwick upon Tweed for a term of 14 years provided Langley within a reasonable time enrols in Chancery a particular description of the nature of his inventions.
