Name: AI Lusk.

Occupation: Fireman.

Place of accident: Barry, near Trehafod South Signal Box, Glamorgan.

Injury: Bruised and swollen left elbow.

Details of accident: When out with Engine 30 and waiting orders, Lusk was getting down from the cab with the intention of picking up a coupling pole which was lying on the ground when he struck his left elbow against the edge of the footplate.
