Description

Folios 118-120. Petition of Elizabeth Brown, widow and mother of six children, who was convicted of stealing a purse and money therein from John Dickson, and 'is now in the River on board the Eagle'. Sentenced to transportation at the Midland Assizes; with supporting declaration for a pardon from the inhabitants of Drayton in the County of Shropshire.
