Folio 28. Certificate of the Eastern Circuit justices for mitigations of sentences on condition of transportation. Namely Robert Garrard attainted at Chelmsford in Essex for stealing a mare, John Wright and Josiah Thorpe at Rochester in Kent for horse stealing, and Michael Keaton also at Rochester for attempting to recruit one of His Majesty's subjects into the service of the French king [Louis XV].
