Description

Folio 27. Certificate of the Palatinate of Chester Assizes by the Chief Justice Mr William Noel. Regards the mitigation of the sentence of John Kettle convicted of stealing three sheep worth three shillings each (the property of Sir Henry Mainwaring), to be recommended mercy on condition of being transported for fourteen years.
