Description

Folios 124-125. Petition of Thomas May that his sentence of death for the highway robbery of Mr [John] Matthews be reversed to one of transportation to the American colonies. The petition has a certificate of good character signed by the vicar, churchwardens and 50 other parishoners of [?St Andrew's Holborn].
