Petition from the Court of Directors of the Bank of England on behalf of their former employee Joshua West sentenced to death for embezzlement and asking that the sentence be mitigated. Letter from W Fleetwood enclosing a resolution of the Court of Directors that they have no objection to West's sentence being changed to transportation for life should the King be so inclined.
