Folios 88-94. Henry Hutchinson to Newcastle setting out in detail the reasons for embarking, as he thought with government approval, on his expedition to the South Sea (in respect of which he had earlier petitioned the Crown for relief for his losses arising therefrom). He gives the amounts of money [to the farthing] that would have been made by Britain, the South Sea Company and Spain under the Asiento contract. He mentions Sir Robert Walpole, Sir Charles Wager, John Gore, Peter Burrell, John Bristow, Lord Anson, John Hanbury, the 'Centurion', Panama, Chile, Peru and California.
