Folios 35-63. Petitions of Berkeley Seymour and Sir Edward Seymour both claiming the Barony of Seymour and the Dukedom of Somerset the former addressed to the Lords Justices with referral, dated 9 August 1750, to the Attorney-General, Sir Dudley Ryder signed by Ri [Richard] Nev [Neville] Aldworth; the latter one addressed to the King [George ll] with referral, dated 21 March 1750, to the Attorney-General signed by Holles Newcastle with accompanying pedigrees and the Attorney-General's report to the King. Note folios 42-43 contain a 'Pedigree of the late Dules of Somerset'.
