Folios 82-83. Ben [Benjamin] Green, treasurer of Youghal Corporation, to Payzant sending a bill from 'Isaac and Jos [Joseph] Labat on Albert Nesbitt, Esquire [for] ten pounds sterling, which please to credit the Corporation of Youghal with, and be so kind to let me (their Treasurer) know what will then be due to you. I hope to be able to see better payments made to you for the time to come than you have had from them for some years past. Our present mayor Mr Mannix has been very uneasy until this sum was remitted to you, which Mr Freeman should have done ere now. I am not fond of making promises when not immediately my own affair, but be assured while I am concerned for this Corporation I shall think properly of your demand, that I must say have been very indulgent to us for which you have the thanks of the Corporation in general'.
