Description

Assignment of lease by Sir Francis Walsingham to Henry Sanderson, his servant, of the subsidies, customs, and profits on any merchandise, wares, and goods shipped into and out of the ports of Newcastle, Hartlepool, Berwick and Carlisle, paying £550 yearly for the remainder of a six year lease, originally granted to Walsingham by Elizabeth I on 17 Aug 1585. Sealed by Sanderson. 28 Eliz I
