Licence, for 30 years, granted by Elizabeth I to Armigill Wade [Waad] and William Herlle, gents, to make sulphur and oil in the manner discovered by them and enjoy the whole benefit thereof, with the power to dig, search, plant, or sow on any ground throughout the queen's dominions for this purpose, from Pentecost next. Any others using the said art without licence of Wade and Herlle, the licensees, will be punished according to this licence. Sealed by Wade and Herlle. 7 Eliz I
