Bargain and sale by Henry Hastings, earl of Huntingdon, to Elizabeth I of the manors of Ashby de la Zouche, Packington, Knighthorpe, and Branston, lands and tenements formerly belonging to Leicester Abbey, and rents from the manor of Kirby, Leicestershire, as surety for the repayment of an £11,400 debt to the queen, originally owed by Sir John Lumley, Lord Lumley, and taken on by Hastings for a sum of money paid to him.
