Grant by Elizabeth I to Henry Lord Cheyne of Toddington of lands in the parish of Eastchurch and Leysdown on the Isle of Sheppey, Kent, surrendered to the Crown by William Burde, citizen and mercer of London, in consideration of a £3500 debt to the queen. Lord Cheyne grants back the said lands to the queen in consideration of a £3621 19s 6d debt, formerly owed to William Burde by Cheyne. Attached are two final concords relating to the transfer and a bond binding Cheyne to the terms of the indenture. Sealed by Cheyne. 22 Eliz I
