Bargain and sale by Robert Dudley, earl of Leicester, to Elizabeth I of the manors of Arustley [Arwystli] and Kevilock, Montgomeryshire, Kenlleth Owen, Denbighshire, and Knolle, Warwickshire, in exchange for Crown lands of equivalent value. Attached is a list and valuation of the manors surrendered to the queen and a memorandum of a prior exchange of the manors of Meaux and Raskell, Yorkshire, granted by Dudley, and the manors of Great and Little Hampton, Worcestershire and Hampton and Knoll in Arden, Warwickshire, granted by Elizabeth I. Also attached is a bond for £4000, voided if Dudley keeps the terms outlined in the indenture, and a confirmation that Dudley is bound to the queen for £4000. Sealed by Dudley. 23 Eliz I
