Bargain and sale by Henry Manners, earl of Rutland, to Elizabeth I of the manors of Alverton and Penzance, Cornwall, and the third part of the manor of Heighgrove near Bridgwater, Somerset, in satisfaction of a debt of £720. Attached is a royal order dated 1 June 1560 to Sir William Thorold and Sir Anthony Thorold confirming the transfer. Sealed by Manners. 2 Eliz I
