The Royal Estates Division undertook a variety of works, including working alongside the Royal Parks Agency, Historic Royal Palaces, as well as specific programmes of work, including the restoration of the Prince Albert Memorial, one of the largest heritage state conservation programmes managed within the UK at that time. The division also had responsibility for architecture policy, alongside its relationships with the various Royal Estates.
