Folios 415-416: Charles Patton, Transport Office, Portsmouth.
Notes that on the last promotion of Captains to be Flag Officers his name was not included, and therefore requests that in consideration of his 'age and long services' they put him on the list of superannuated Rear Admirals. Admiralty note on rear says that he has never applied for employment from the time of his promotion, request cannot be granted.
