Requests that he be remunerated for the costs incurred while transporting a party from Bermuda to Halifax [Nova Scotia] between 25 February and 13 March 1814. A copy of his orders enclosed.
Folios 296-297: Enclosure with folios 294-295: Sir Henry Hotham, Captain of the Fleet, 24 February 1814, to Joseph Pearce, Commander, HMS Rifleman.
Copy of Order to Captain Pearce requiring him to transport W. P Crawford, Deputy Paymaster General, Mr. Evan Davis and John Lane, Deputy Assistant Commissary General and their servants to Nova Scotia. Lane has in his charge money for the forces in Nova Scotia.
