Folios 258-259: Benjamin William Page, HMS Puissant, Spithead.
Further to his letter regarding the carpenter John Mills' appointment to HMS Ligera, he states that he wrote having seen the Admiralty letter of 7 April, of which he encloses a copy and trusts they are not displeased at his interference, since the man was very useful in remasting HMS Dedaigneuse in China in 1804-5 and he supposed merited the good opinion of others.
Folio 260: Enclosure with folios 258-259: Admiralty letter signed by J. Barrow and dated 7 April 1814, appointing John Mills Carpenter of HMS Ligera.
