Folios 240-241: Benjamin William Page, HMS Puissant, Spithead.
Writes on behalf of a carpenter, John Mills, whose letter is enclosed and who served with him before, asking them to ratify Mills' appointment as carpenter aboard HMS Ligera. Admiralty note on rear says no such appointment was made.
Ffolios 242-243: Enclosure with folios 240-241: Letter from John Mills to Paget asking him to intervene with the Admiralty, to confirm his appointment. Mills was lately carpenter aboard HMS Prometheus.
