Arrangement
The paper files in this series appear to have been arranged by departmental file reference. The digital content comprises Word, Excel and PDF image files stored in shared drives (with a file plan) and in iShare (an Electronic Document and Records Management System). Digital documents that were found on floppy disks and CDs within paper files were extracted using external floppy and CD drives, and saved to the corresponding version of the paper files on iShare. These documents were later extracted from iShare in 2018.
References for born digital records are automatically generated and display a 'Z' after a forward slash, which distinguish them from traditional references allocated to paper and digitised copies of records.

The Millennium Centre was designed to celebrate the year 2000. The Cardiff Bay Development Corporation submitted a funding application to the Millennium Commission, which was turned down. This was felt to be a controversial decision as it was felt that Wales was being discriminated against. Support and funding was finally given by the Welsh Government. The foundation stone was laid in 2004 and the first phase was opened in 2004. The centre provides a permament home for Welsh National Opera, Welsh National Orchestra and other theatre, dance and literature events. It is also home to the Cardiff Bay Visitor Centre.
