Folios 87-109. George Shevlocke to Mr Potter. Enclosed correspondence from the General Post Office regarding the treaties with France of 1698 and 1713. Includes a copy of a formal letter In French] from Jean-Baptiste de Colbert de Torcy, superintendant général des postes, written 19 October 1713, appointing Louis Léon Pajol Comte d'Osenbray (as contrôleur général des postes), to deal with Matthew Prior in the restoration of cross-Channel mail as it was before the War of the Spanish Succession.
