Description

Envelope typed 'Minffordd', second of two on reverse of item 47, containing eight monochrome photographic images of the Festiniog Railway at Minffordd, Merionethshire:

1) Postcard by 'F Moore's Railway Photographs' (Locomotive Publishing Company), Minffordd station with passenger train at platform and station staff [image c.1890], 8cm x 13cm.

2) Cutting from unnamed publication [c.1935], photographic illustration of image 1.

3) Cutting from unnamed journal [c.1910], photographic illustration, locomotive No 8 'James Spooner' hauling Portmadoc train away from Minffordd Junction.

4) Postcard by J Roberts, Penrhyndeudraeth [c. 1920], double Fairlie locomotive hauling passenger train away from station, 8cm x 13cm.

5) Photograph by Frank E Box [c.1925] with typed caption on reverse, locomotive [No 10 'Merddyn Emrys'?] standing with train at station, 8cm x 13cm.

6) Two cuttings from unnamed journal, No 10 ['Merddyn Emrys'] and train in station [c.1930], with cutting of printed caption attached to reverse.
