Hospital(s): 4th London General Hospital, Denmark Hill.

Condition/Injury/Disease: Dysentery.

Details and Outcome: Admitted to hospital at Alexandria. Ailments listed: diarrhoea, vomiting, passed blood, colic and tender abdomen. Chest very deformed. Heart sounds muffled. Bacteriological report notes amoeba present. Patient suffers a lot of pain, diarrhoea and tenesmus. 20/10/1915 stools free of amoeba. Transferred to Denmark Hill 27/10/1915. Bacteriological examination carried out. Results negative for all amoeba. Discharged.
