Folios 217-218: Sir George Francis Seymour, London. Explains the circumstances behind his request for leave of absence from HMS Manilla which is to sort out the property of his late father, Lord Hugh Seymour, who died ten years ago and is still not distributed amongst his children. Much of the paperwork and accounts are in the hands of the West India agents.
Folios 219-220: Enclosures with folios 217-218: Admiralty, 28 August 1811. Order to be issued to John Joyce to act as Captain of HMS Manilla during the absence of George Seymour.
