Folios 180-181: James Keith Shepard, Gravesend. Acknowledges receipt of a letter and Affidavit and states the case of Joseph Leitch, aged 23, impressed on 14 August by Lieutenant Petley, having been found stowed away on board the United Kingdom, of Gravesend. Says Leitch produced an affidavit at time of regulating but as he had written it himself, it was not taken into account.
Folio 182-183: Enclosures with folios 180-181: Joseph Leitch, HMS Corso, Gravesend, 15 August 1811 to the Admiralty. Encloses an affidavit to support his request for discharge.
Folio 184: Enclosure with folios 180-181: Affidavit of James Brownlie, Master of the United Kingdom of Glasgow, sworn before Nathan Wilson, Justice of the Peace at Greenock, Renfrew, 2 April 1811. Regarding Joseph Leitch who he appointed Carpenter of the United Kingdom.
