Folios 243-244: Nicholas Lechmere Pateshall, HM Sloop Adder, Portsmouth. Writes to say that his name had been incorrectly listed when he first joined the service, as simply Nicholas Pateshall, and that he has since had some inconvenience from this, so would be obliged if they would correct it on his commission and in the Admiralty books. Offers to supply a certificate from the parish register if required.
