Folios 241-242: John Phillimore, HMS Eurotas, Falmouth Harbour. Reports that they put into Falmouth the previous Monday evening due to tempestuous weather. The friends of a young man named John Huddy then came on board requesting he be allowed to go ashore for a few hours to collect the money to procure his discharge. Phillimore reminds their Lordships that he had been asked to state the case of Huddy some time earlier, at the request of Lord Darnley [sic]. He did allow the young man ashore but says that he has not returned and he is now under weigh to join the squadron under Commodore Malcolm.
