Folios 234-235: Home Popham, HMS Stirling Castle. Latitude 10° S, Longitude 22° 30' W. Reports that he has crossed the Line well to the Eastward, and having had a favourable trade wind for some days has determined to continue on without 'touching at the Brazils'. He has this day despatched HMS Indefatigable with the Brazil ships while he continues with the five East Indiamen and the Cormorant storeship.
