Folios 195-196: James Sykes, Arundel Street. Writes with regard to Captain Westby Percival, commander of HMS Paulina, whose accounts were refused because he had not previously submitted a log for the period 1 January to 25 May 1812. As the Navy Office has now received a perfect log for that period from the Master of the ship, Sykes requests that they dispense with the need for a captain's log and allow Captain Percival's pay to be issued.
