Description

Folios 48-49. Carpentier, requesting once more for Aneas MacDonald's release, pursuant to: the Frankfurt Cartel, the Antwerp Convention Project of 5 April, and the Liege Convention of the 31 August 1747. While a copy of his commissaire des guerres commission (dated 1 June 1745 near Tournai) was sent to Newcastle as proof that he was a French officer.
