Description

Folio 147: William Couch, Master Carpenter, Woolwich. He has information concerning Thomas Cleaves, Master of the Scorpio, and hears that John Rose was taken. If he is convicted he will be entitled to a reward. He has been appointed Master Carpenter of the new 6th Rate being built there and expects preferment when an opportunity arises. Asks for directions concerning the Scorpio's Master.
