Prisoner age: 21.

Prisoner occupation: Groom.

Court and date of trial: Cambridge in July 1827.

Crime: Stealing ribbon.

Initial sentence: Seven years transportation.

Gaoler's report: Good in gaol.

Annotated (Outcome): Free pardon prepared 12 July 1831.

Petitioner(s): John Orme.

Grounds for clemency (Petition Details): Distressed and dependant relations; got into bad company.
