Prisoner name: Rachael Ellen Sutton.

Court and date of trial: Salford [Lancashire] Quarter Sessions May 1829.

Crime: Stealing from employer.

Initial sentence: Seven years transportation.

Annotated (Outcome): Free pardon prepared. 17 August 1830.

Petitioner(s): J Norris Chairman of Quarter Sessions.

Grounds for clemency (Petition Details): Ill health; state of paralysis for which there is no hope of recovery; relatives and friends who will look after her.
