Place of accident: High level siding, Barry Docks, Glamorgan.
Injury: Crushed right foot necessitating amputation.
Details of accident: Fell from a wagon as a result of his coupling pole becoming caught in the wagon coupling. He landed with his right foot on the rail which was then run over by the moving wagon.
